9flats hosts now can earn money in Bitcoins

Last week, we announced via TechCrunch that we would be one of the first larger companies to accept payments via Bitcoin. The implementation of this quite simple technical step did cause a stir. Now, we are taking it one step further: From today, 9flats hosts are able to accept Bitcoin as a method of payment.

Our guests were asking for other payment options an we answered by implenting a new booking payment method. As first market place of peer-to-peer renting we are proud that we've decided to integrate Bitcoins into our payment processes next to other established payment options such credit card and Paypal.

9flats ad airs on major German TV channels

When Angelina Jolie films show in Germany, cinema audiences hear the voice of Claudia Urbschat-Mingues. She's also a 9flats host, and she's appeared again in our TV ad, to publicise the 9flats way of travelling.
